Come view the stars during the Arizona SciTech Festival! Fun for the whole family, located at the Gilbert Riparian Preserve. East Valley Astronomy Club members staff operations and programming for the Observatory. The observatory houses a 16-inch diameter Meade, modified Richey-Cretien scope, guided by a Paramount ME computer controlled German equatorial mount slaved to The Sky professional computer program. SRP contributed all funding for this state-of-the-art scope. Cost is free, but donations welcome. Suggested donation $5/family or $3/adult. Weekly, Friday and Saturday Evening: Sunset - 9:30 PM, weather permitting Visit our Facebook page for the latest information on special events and updates on observatory closure due to weather or other factors.       Arizona SciTech Festival Season is here!
