Welcome one and all to the inaugural gathering of Mexico’s only Astronomy on Tap satellite in Morelia, Michoacán! Our first meeting will be held at Club Campestre. Starting at 5 PM, it will feature talks by three astronomers from the Instituto de Radioastronomía y Astrofísica (IRyA) on the UNAM campus. Pamela Freeman will explore the search for life on other worlds, Sundar Srinivasan will explain how a cosmic lighthouse ended up on an album cover, and René Ortega will reveal what is truly alien about a comet. Join us for a lively exchange of ideas!
