AoT Morelia: The Awesome Power of a Fully Operational Cosmic Jet

Space is anything but quiet. Giant storms rage across the surfaces of stars, while enormous jets launched by black holes and dying stars tear through the cosmos at incredible speeds. These powerful phenomena shape galaxies, influence stellar birth and death, and produce some of the most dramatic sights in the Universe. Join us on the 27th of May for two exciting talks by IRyA-UNAM professors that explore the “weather” inside our own Galaxy and investigate the nature of cosmic engines.

Ramandeep Gill will introduce us to unbelievably large-scale jets.
