More Information

Want to learn about scorpions and see them glow under a black light while hiking on a beautiful trail at Oracle State Park? Then join us at Oracle State Park for an exciting evening searching for and learning about scorpions! Please meet at the Group Use parking lot at 7 p.m., and be prepared to hike roughly one mile along Bellota Trail, which has rocky terrain and elevation changes. We recommend bringing hiking shoes, plenty of water, and a black light. If you do not have a black light, you are welcome to purchase one at the ranch house before the event. Keep in mind that this program will start around sunset and end in the dark. This event is free with regular day use admission or your annual state parks pass displayed on your vehicle. See you there!
