Get excited for Astronomy on Tap at Bow & Arrow Brewing at 6pm on Tuesday September 15th! Each FREE Astronomy on Tap event features accessible, engaging science presentations on topics ranging from planets to black holes to the beginning of the Universe. Events always start off with trivia and prizes to test and reward your new-found knowledge! There is always lots of time to ask questions and interact with the presenter and other scientists who inevitably stick around for the beer. Be sure to follow us on Instagram (@AoTABQ) and on Facebook to get updates on future events! ———————————————— Speaker: Dr. Luis Contreras-Vidal (Private Industry) Bio: Luis Contreras-Vidal, Ph.D. holds a Ph.D. in Experimental Physics and a Bachelor’s degree in Physics with a concentration in Atmospheric Physics from the New Mexico Tech. His graduate research focused on measuring high-energy photons produced by thunderstorms and high-voltage electrical discharges.
