Astronomy on Tap – Orlando Event #25: Cosmic Horrors!

Greetings, Space Nerds! We’re back for our AoT Orlando Event #25! 🤯🚀 Come join us at the Ivanhoe Park Lager House on Thursday, October 30th, from 7 – 9 PM for another out-of-this-world event! Max Galloway, a physics graduate student at the University of Central Florida, will help us explore the world of birthing exoplanets. Then, Antoine Bourget, also a Postdoctoral Scholar at the Florida Space Institute, will bring it back to Earth to explore the mysteries behind a weird near-Earth asteroid called 2005 UP156! This is an AoT that you DON’T wanna miss! ☄️

As always, we’ll wrap up the night with a round of space trivia, where you’ll have the chance to win some fun astronomy-themed prizes! For this special Halloween edition of AoT, we’re also hosting a costume contest at the end of the night. So come on down in your best costume (bonus points for space-themed outfits!) and enjoy an evening of spooky science talks!
