How do we resolve conflicts in space before they become crises?
Space is getting crowded fast: more satellites, more actors, more dependence on orbital infrastructure. That makes coordination harder and raises new risks, from accidental collisions to political and legal disputes. So what does “conflict” in space actually look like, and what tools do we have to prevent and manage it?
We’re excited to welcome three experts bringing science, operations, and law together:
Susanne Wampfler Professor at the University of Bern, bringing a scientific perspective on the space environment and why sustainability in orbit matters.
Ludovic Monnerat Head of Space Command, Swiss Army; sharing the operational view on space security, situational awareness, and how risks are assessed in practice.
Merve Erdem Burger Space Law Consultant, Swiss Space Law Forum; unpacking the legal frameworks, norms, and “rules of the road” that shape how we act in space.
Admission to the event is free, but we appreciate your help with planning by registering via the Eventbrite website.
