Astronomy on Tap Boston: Transients!

Join us at Mighty Squirrel Fenway for Astro on Tap on March 19th! Our theme this month will be transients, objects in the sky that change with time. Professor Dillon Brout from Boston University will be talking about the end of a stars life as they explode in a bright burst called a supernova. Nora Sherman, a BU postdoc, will be telling us about what happens as two black holes swirl closer and closer to each other. As always, we will also have astronomy news and trivia with prizes.
