Astronomy on Tap Charlottesville: Planets, Asteroids, and Stars (oh my!)

Come join us on Monday, Sept 30th from 7-9pm at Firefly Restaurant & Game Room for a night of free astronomy talks, trivia, and prizes targeted at a general audience. We’ll have talks by professional astronomers from the University of Virginia on observing planets outside our Solar System with the James Webb Space Telescope, asteroid deflection techniques, and stellar explosions! Following the event, we will have telescopes set up to observe objects in the night sky (weather permitting of course)! Stay tuned to our public Facebook event page for updates.
