Astronomy on Tap Los Angeles: Past, Present, & Future Telescopes

Join us at 7:30PM PST, Monday, August 31st for Astronomy on Tap hosted at the outdoor Dog Haus Biergarten in Old Town Pasadena. We’ll hear from Caltech postdoctoral fellow Kaitlyn Shin in a talk entitled: “Surveying the Sky with Ground-Based Telescopes,” and we’ll host Caltech / Carnegie postdoctoral fellow Geoffrey Mo discussing: “Space Telescopes: The Past, Present, and Future.” In addition, we will have telescopes on-hand for guided stargazing, professional astronomers to answer your science questions, astronomically-themed pub trivia with prizes, and NASA swag!
