Astronomy on Tap Los Angeles: Stellar Mergers and Planet Formation

Join us at 7:30PM PDT, Monday, April 14th for Astronomy on Tap hosted at the outdoor Dog Haus Biergarten in Old Town Pasadena. We’ll hear from Caltech IPAC Research Scientist Aurora Kesseli: “Investigating the Origins of Planets through their Atmospheres,” and Caltech PhD Candidate Viraj Karambelkar: “Cosmic Fireworks from Stellar Mergers.” In addition, we will have a telescope on-hand for guided stargazing, professional astronomers to answer your science questions, astronomically-themed pub trivia with prizes, NASA educational swag, and live music with local rockstars Jason Achilles and Forrest Mitchell!
