Join us for the Astronomy on Tap NYC’s 174th event, and the next in our monthly series at Somethin’ Else! Astronomy on Tap is fun and informative, with professional scientists and educators, plus games, prizes, and a bit of learning while drinking.

This month, we’re rounding up some news and views on what’s happening in astronomy! Our speakers are: •James Chan, AMNH, talking about gravitational lensing •Kartheik Iyer, Center for Computational Astrophysics at the Flatiron Institute, on the use of AI in astronomy research •and a brand new news segment from our hosts!

Located in the DeKalb Market, Somethin’ Else is the bar next to the Escape Room, across from the Jamaican spot. Grab a bite from the market and bring it on in! Doors open at 7:00pm, event start at 7:15pm. Arrive early to get your seats, grab a drink, and settle in for science talks, trivia, prizes, and fun!
