Astronomy on Tap NYC 180: The Dark Night!

Join us for the Astronomy on Tap NYC’s 180th event, and the next in our monthly series at Somethin’ Else! Astronomy on Tap is fun and informative, with professional scientists and educators, plus games, prizes, and a bit of learning while drinking.

This month, for The Dark Night, we’ll be featuring talks about the dark night and its importance to astronomy and nature, with a healthy dose of the man bat appropriate for the comic con and halloween season! PLUS we’re partnering with our friends at No.11 Productions and their new production, Starstuff, which tells the story of the night sky’s inspiration of one character’s cosmic quest for self discovery. And get your tickets to Starstuff NOW on their site, and use code AOTStar for a nice discount!!

Located in the DeKalb Market, Somethin’ Else is the bar next to the Escape Room, across from the Jamaican spot. Grab a bite from the market and bring it in! Doors open at 7:00pm, event start at 7:15pm. Arrive early to get your seats, grab a drink, and settle in for science talks, trivia, prizes, and fun!
