Astronomy on Tap Rochester #10: Geology and Geometry

AoT Rochester is back in May with our 10th event on Tuesday, May 19th! Great news: AoT Rochester pint glasses are now available for $20 each, via cash or PayPal.

This month’s guest stars will be Dr. Nicholas Warner, Associate Professor at SUNY Geneseo, and Katie Porter, PhD student at Rochester Institute of Technology. Dr. Warner works in Geological, Environmental, and Planetary Sciences, and he’ll be talking to us about what we can learn from craters on Mars! Katie works with the RIT Center for Computational Relativity and Gravitation studying accretion disks around black holes… talk about geology and geometry! Are you excited? We’re excited.
