Astronomy on Tap Western Mass. #10

Hope you had a good summer! We’re back after a three month hiatus to host another series of entertaining and informative shows starting off on September 16th. Please join us at New City Brewery in Easthampton, Massachusetts for the tenth installment of Astronomy on Tap Western Mass.! This month we have two talks, trivia, Astronomy in the News, and telescope viewing (weather permitting). First up, postdoctoral researcher Massi Hamadouche walk us through the lives and deaths of massive galaxies. Then, current chair of the UMass Astronomy Department, Professor Grant Wilson, will help us ponder the vastness of the Universe and the human brain. Admission is free and open to all ages. We suggest arriving 15-30 minutes early. We hope to see you there!
