Explore the varied geology of this East Valley region that rises from low desert flatlands to some of the most spectacular & sweeping mountain ranges found in any American urban area. Local geologist Steve Skotnicki, Ph.D. will lead this program. In addition to teaching at Chandler-Gilbert Community College, Steve has worked with the Arizona Geological Survey, the New Mexico Bureau of Geology, and as a hydrogeologist with Phoenix’s HydroSystems. Registration is appreciated.
