More Information

We are holding an event at the Topeka & Shawnee County Public Library. We are planning an activity to explore ways we detect the composition of the atmosphere on planets around different stars. Finding water on these planets raises the question is there life on other planets, even in the form of extremophiles. Extremophiles are organisms that live in extreme environments, even here on Earth. Although, extremophiles do need water to survive as we know it here on Earth. There are other worlds in our solar system that have the possibility of water; could they be harboring life forms?
