More Information
ABOUT US: iCivics was founded by Justice Sandra Day O’Connor in 2009 to solve the problem of inequitable and uninspiring civic education and cultivate new generations of thoughtful and active citizens. iCivics is a free digital platform offering a range of engaging experiential games.
PROJECT: iCivics has launched its Democracy At Play campaign. The project was designed to enable intergenerational conversations about civics and politics in a fun, informative, and engaging (nonpartisan) way. Our goal is to have parents, grandparents and kids play the games together! We are also hoping to have people host game challenge events in their communities.
The first challenge is in honor of National Constitution Week. Let’s raise our game, America. We’re challenging you to test your knowledge. It’s easy:
-
Play iCivics’ fun, FREE game Do I Have a Right?

-
Post your final score on Twitter or Facebook with #Democracy at Play
-
Tag 2 or more of your friends and challenge them to beat you.
You can also check out our landing page (https://www.icivics.org/democracyatplay-family) and take the BINGO challenge in your community!
Or you can host your own event: https://www.icivics.org/democracyatplay-community. The Game Challenges site has a survey. We will use the survey data to assess the impact game play has on adult players and the degree to which it motivates them to undertake further civic engagement.
