Embry – Riddle Aeronautical University: Air Traffic Control Summer Camp

Ready for an exhilarating dive into the world of air traffic control? Brace yourself for a week of thrills, challenges, and the chance to step into the shoes of an air traffic controller! In our one-week program, we’re not just talking about air traffic control - we’re putting you right in the action. Imagine yourself at the helm in our state-of-the-art simulator, experiencing the rush of controlling airplanes with precision and finesse. Participants will learn real ATC phraseology, rules, and procedures, all operating on the same software used at FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) facilities throughout the United States! During your time in this program, you will learn departure, arrival, and final approach procedures for a real Terminal Radar Approach Control (TRACON) airspace, controlling aircraft every day.
