Collect data and tools for LiDAR-based forest monitoring

The aim of this project is to involve community members in the early detection and reporting of weeds so that ACT government and NSW council weeds officers can respond quickly to minimise the potential spread of problem weeds.

We aim to establish the first baseline and long-term observation of sea urchin population density (as keystone species and environmental stress indicators) and help understand:1. How our ecosystem responds to environmental stressors,2. Provide input to local and national authorities3. Inspire the next generation of marine scientists and citizen science volunteers
