Flagstaff Festival of Science: Flagstaff Star Party

A star party is a magical evening of celestial exploration, perfect for curious minds of all ages! Enjoy twilight talks–short, engaging presentations by astronomers who share fascinating facts about the night sky, constellations, planets, and cosmic phenomena. Participants can take turns looking through powerful telescopes to get up-close views of planets, star clusters, and distant galaxies. Food trucks offered, Sep 25, Sep 26, Sep 27.       Part of Flagstaff Festival of Science, a free annual 10-day event wholly designed to promote awareness and enthusiasm for science in and about northern Arizona and beyond, and is fondly known as the Best 10 Days of the Year. Established in 1990, it is the longest, continuously running, entirely free science festival in the world.
