This breath-taking phenomenon is the result of a powerful collision between our planet and an asteroid traveling 26,000 miles per hour. Meteor Crater, AKA “The Barringer Crater” is considered one of the natural wonders of the world, and a must-see bucket-list destination. Reservations are required and can be made by visiting the Planet Science store (109 N Leroux St, Flagstaff), or online.
