More Information

Please join us on 19 March 2026, at 12:00 pm ET (16:00 UTC) to learn how GLOBE data benefits the meteorological community. In March 2025, environmental data collected by the GLOBE community became available in NOAA’s Meteorological Assimilation Data Ingest System (MADIS). Supported by Synoptic Data, this integration helps bridge the gap between citizen science and professional meteorological analysis. By making GLOBE observations available via MADIS and the Synoptic Data Viewer, the GLOBE community is contributing data to help scientists understand Earth’s complex systems. Hear directly from the architects of this collaboration and join us for a conversation with staff from the GLOBE Program Office, NOAA, and Synoptic Data, who will share insights into this exciting milestone, describe examples of how the data are used, and demonstrate how the data in MADIS can be accessed.
