Harvest Festival

The BBAA is thrilled to support our friends at Chippokes State Park in their signature event, the 12th Annual Harvest Festival!  Bring your solar telescope (or just a willingness to discuss astronomy!) and meet us at this fun, mostly-free (parking fees apply) event!  You don't have to stay for the whole event, either!

We extend our invitation to attend the Chippokes State Park 12th Annual Harvest Festival sponsored by the Friends of Chippokes (FOC).

Celebrate this year's fall harvest at one of the oldest continuously farmed properties in the nation on Saturday, October 18th, 2025, from 10 am to 5 pm.

Chippokes' Harvest Festival features music and family activities such an antique tractor pull, pumpkin painting, corn cob dolls, corn hole, tractor-drawn hay rides, and an active sawmill site. There will be various local food and craft vendors with a wide array of selections.

See antique harvest equipment in operation and watch costumed interpreters cook on the hearth in the 1850s Brick Kitchen. Guided tours of the antebellum Jones-Stewart Mansion and self-guided tours of the Farm and Forestry Museum are included.

This event will kick off and the show will go on - Rain or shine!  (Note:  The BBAA probably will not be there if it rains)

$7 vehicle entry/parking fee applies.
