More Information

LA Nature Quest invites everyone to observe and photograph local plants, insects, and animals within Los Angeles City. By documenting native, indicator, and invasive species—especially in under-reported areas—participants help scientists protect urban biodiversity. Supported by the Los Angeles Public Library and partner organizations, the project builds on the legacy of the LA BioBlitz Challenge to inspire community connection with nature and advance the city’s biodiversity goals.
