Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Discovery Station – Meet the Critters

Stop by the Nature Center to learn about San Tan’s animal ambassadors with Ranger Jacque during this drop-in session. Ranger Jacque will introduce you to San Tan’s animal ambassadors, including snakes, a chuckwalla and a gila monster. Learn about their lifestyles, adaptations and what you should do if you encounter their relatives on the trail. Bring your water and a hat to visit the outdoor tortoise enclosure. Restrooms and water are available at the Nature Center. MEETING LOCATION: Nature Center No registration required.
