Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Evening Fitness Hike

Join Ranger Derik on a hike through the park and watch the desert come alive as the sun paints the mountains and hills pink and orange. The hike will be fast-paced and cover 4.5 miles along sections of the North, Verde, and Chuparosa Trails. Hikers should have at least 2 liters of water and come to the hike pre-hydrated. Hikers should also have a flashlight or headlamp with fresh batteries or a full charge. Cellphone lights are not bright enough. There is no water at the trailhead so make sure to have plenty with you and some in your car for when you get finished with the hike. Bathrooms can be found on the road to the right just before the parking lot.
