Bring your family and join Ranger Olivia on this slow-paced family friendly hike to become a Junior Ranger. Come out to White Tank on National Junior Ranger Day to earn your Maricopa County Junior Ranger Badge. This hike will consist of completing our Junior Ranger guidebook along one of our trails with a Ranger and then taking the Junior Ranger pledge to earn your badge. We will be hiking an easy 2 miles out and back with breaks along the way to learn about the desert around us along the Mule Deer trail! There are restrooms and water inside the Nature Center, where we will be meeting, but be sure to bring plenty of water with you. MEETING LOCATION: Nature Center Limit 25 participants. To register, please call the Nature Center at (602) 506-2930 ext. 5 with your name, phone number and number of people attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list.
