Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Lunch and Learn – Bald Eagles of the Sonoran Desert

Bring a lunch and join Ranger Kevin for a fascinating conversation about the Sonoran Desert’s population of bald eagles. Did you know that Arizona is now home to 90 breeding pairs of Bald Eagles? Join Ranger Kevin for an inside look at these magnificent birds. We’ll talk about what makes our population of Bald Eagles special, how they are doing since being removed from the Endangered Species list, how these birds of prey are able to survive in the Sonoran Desert, and where they can be viewed, including our very own Maricopa County Park system.
