Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Mid-Day Meander

Let’s see what sorts of things we can spot. Animals might be out and about during this time, but if not, there is still plenty things to see! We will pass many native plants to the desert along with some great views of Lake Pleasant. The route will be on Roadrunner trail and will be an easy 2-mile hike. The terrain is mostly level but there are a few spots that are uneven with small to medium rocks underfoot. Wear closed-toe shoes and bring plenty of water. Restrooms and water are available at the Discovery Center near the trailhead. MEETING LOCATION: Discovery Center. Be aware that it will take an ADDITIONAL 5-10 minutes to get to the meeting location AFTER entering the park’s entry booth. No Registration Required.
