Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Plant Hike

Spend Memorial Day outside to learn all about plants of the Sonoran Desert during this guided hike with Ranger Olivia. Enjoy a guided nature hike along some of our trails to see all the beauty the desert plants have to offer. We will be along the Vista and Merkle trails which are rated moderate-easy with some uneven/rocky surfaces so please wear closed-toed shoes. The vista trail will be mostly uphill with a beautiful view of the park at the end. Bring any questions you have about the plants that reside in the desert. Restrooms are available at the Trailhead, please be sure to bring plenty of water.
