More Information

You’ve got your shiny new toys, now take them out with Ranger Shaun and give them a try! This will be a slow-moving, easy with some medium difficultly sections, 3.5-mile hike intended to give people ample opportunities to explore the functions and limitations of iNaturalist and other ID apps. We will discuss native floral and fauna as well as spend time exploring the trail edges and looking for things to photograph and practicing photo technique with cell phones. While you are welcome to spend as much time with the group as you like, this is intended to be a drop-in/drop-out experience. Please bring water for drinking, wear closed toed shoes, a hat, and sunscreen. No pets please, but feel free to bring whatever hiking equipment makes you comfortable. MEETING LOCATION: Nature Center
