Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Scorpion Safari

Join Ranger Shaun in a search for scorpions! Summon up some courage and come walk the 1.3-mile Black Rock loop under a blanket of darkness as we sweep the trail with blacklights and flashlights. Searching for scorpions’ iconic glow who knows what we might find? Closed toed shoes, drinking water, and flashlight required. Blacklights encouraged. No pets please. MEETING LOCATION: Area 4, Blackrock Trailhead Outdoor summer programs may be canceled on short notice due to severe weather, including extreme heat events.
