Join Ranger Kevin on an easy-moderate hike to look for wildflowers and other blooming plants, as well as butterflies. Join Ranger Kevin for a 2.1-mile hike along the Moonlight, Stargazer and San Tan trails as we set off in search of wildflowers, blooming trees, shrubs and cacti as well as the butterflies that visit them. You will learn about the Parks Department butterfly monitoring initiative and receive an identification handout to help with your own butterfly observations. Please bring water and wear closed-toe shoes. NO pets, please. Meeting Location: San Tan Trailhead. Map of Meeting Location: https://maps.app.goo.gl/jfTxVbjoczkYQWZw9 Limit 20 participants. To register, please call the Nature Center at (602) 506-2930 ext. 7 with your name, phone number and number attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list.
