More Information

Beverly Trition Nature Park and Mayo beach Park have one of the largest spawning populations known on the Chesapeake Bay. Yearly counts at the parks help us understand how many horseshoe crabs depend on our sandy shorelines for reproduction and helps management understand how to best protect their habitat for the benefit of the species while also providing public access.
