McDowell Sonoran Conservancy: Children’s Learning and Play Festival

The Children’s Learning and Play Festival is a free public event that features children’s authors, illustrators, music, live performances, rides, STEAM activities, local business vendors, and a host of interactive activities for toddlers, children, and young adults.                The Children’s Learning and Play Festival is a day filled with learning, exploring, and playing. This free public event highlights activities that are all about children’s education, health, wellness, active play, and exploration. Vendors come from throughout the Valley and include authors, illustrators, STEAM partners, live performances, wildlife exhibits, and much more.                          The Children’s Learning and Play Festival benefits The McDowell Sonoran Conservancy, a nonprofit organization that has been an advocate for and champion of the Sonoran Desert for more than three decades. We have emerged as one of the leading volunteer organizations in the nation, a committed partner in scientific research, and an indispensable educational resource for our community. Core to the Conservancy’s mission, education plays a critical role in inspiring people to have a positive impact on the environment.
