More Information

Day One: Teaching for Transformational Giftedness - In this session, we will look at ways to achieve effective and strategic differentiated instruction within the course materials you are already using with your students. We will workshop lessons for process differentiation, inject depth
& complexity into existing assignments, and work on ways to guide students toward transformational giftedness. This is a highly interactive training where you will engage in lessons as you learn how to design them for your students.
Day Two: Transformation in Practice - This session will focus on specific graphic organizers designed to help students make meaning & build deeper connections between content taught & mastery of learning demonstrated. Participants will work on injecting these graphic organizers into their existing curriculum for an immediate increase in performance. We will then shift gears a little & apply these ideas to an ever-increasing subpopulation in our classrooms: twice-exceptional learners. We will work on lesson design for this group of learners that emphasizes their gifts, builds on their strengths, and then offers appropriate supports for success.
