Journalers are encouraged to spend time documenting what they observe. Basic supplies of a simple journal, colored pencils, watercolor paint and paper will be available. Participants are welcome to bring their own journal and supplies if they wish. Bald Bluff Trail, east side of Hwy H, just north of intersection with Young Road. No bathroom available.

We will hike a total of one mile, half up hill to Bald Bluff, and is a rough, gravel trail to watch for migrating hawks and enjoy fall colors. Mileage counts towards the Ice Age Trail’s Mammoth Hike Challenge. Meet just north of the intersection with Young Road on the east side of Hwy H.
