More Information

North County San Diego STEM Circle is a student-run organization for STEM-interested youth in San Diego, founded to provide free tutoring and allow members to publish opinions, projects, and research online, with the intention of giving students access to resources, community, and leadership opportunities.

Join our team as a writer and gain volunteer hours, experience working with a team, and a place on our team roster!

Apply at the link below, or contact our volunteer coordinator at kiran.jayasinghe@icloud.com.

Requirements (exceptions may be made to improve accessibility):

  • able to stay in contact with administrators (any form of communication allowed)
  • currently in high school or late middle school
  • able to submit material monthly

Articles can be on any STEM topic that the writer finds interesting! Opinion pieces or informational articles will be accepted, and students are free to submit school projects in STEM. Articles must have at least one cited source, and will be reviewed before they are accepted and published.

Note: Students can also send in material to be reviewed and published while not being a member of the team -- contact our volunteer coordinator for more!
