Join a naturalist for a fall-themed guided nature walk to discover what autumn in Arizona is all about. Pumpkin Spice Latte and join us for a guided Southwest style leaf-peeping excursion. Distances may vary but will be around 3 miles on easy to moderate rocky terrain. DIRECTIONS: From East Tucson - Take 22nd Street to Old Spanish Trail and turn south, follow it about 17 miles to the Park entrance. From I-10 take exit 279 (the Vail/Wentworth exit), turn north on Colossal Cave Road and follow the signs for about 7 miles to the Park entrance. When you enter the park bear right and follow signs to La Posta Quemada Ranch. For hikes and birding walks the group meets at the Cowboy Statue and Picnic Area which is just before you get to La Posta Quemada Ranch buildings. Sections of the trail are steep and rocky. Please carry water and wear sturdy hiking shoes.
