Playful Digital Learning: TRAVEL THE WORLD IN MINECRAFT – EXPLORING WORLD HISTORY

Calling young architects and world travellers! Do you want to travel the world in Minecraft? In this five-day camp (classes), students will recreate historical structures from around the world. Students will learn about the structure, its country/culture, and its significance while “traveling” worldwide within the digital world of Minecraft. The student will also be building world monuments inside of Minecraft using Creative mode and prepare a presentation to share with classmates. Among their travels, students will visit countries such as Egypt, France, Italy, and China. They will research the country and its culture, along with major monuments. For example, a student visiting Italy may choose to research the Colosseum before building it in Minecraft.
