PROGRAM
Kevin Cole, professor of Earth Science and Geology at Harper College will give a presentation titled "DART, Hera, and Planetary Defense. This talk would introduce the audience to the concept of planetary defense and the threat of potentially harmful asteroid impacts… He is extremely knowledgeable in this area and this is sure to be a very educational and informative talk.
Afterwards LCAS members will show guests the night sky through powerful telescopes (weather permitting). Please join us.
