Racial Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Science Education

LabXchange aims to create equitable opportunities for success in science. RDEISE educational resources guide learners in applying critical thinking skills to identify and transform structures that perpetuate racial inequity in health
care, education, and STEM fields in the US. It aims to challenge the perception that science is independent of social issues, promotes inclusive and accessible science education, and equips educators with what they need to address these topics in the classroom. Developed in collaboration with leading scholars and experts, RDEISE features two learning clusters that bring awareness of racism to students and educators. These clusters are composed of pathways, or sequences of learning resources, that explore Racism as a Public Health Crisis and Advancing Equity in STEM through Inclusive Teaching.
