More Information

Where Learning Gets Wild! These interactive programs encourage families to learn about the animal world together. Each program features a different animal theme and includes animal ambassador encounters, movement-based activities, and a simple craft. The activities are based on Arizona’s Early Learning Standards to develop motor, social, and cognitive skills. Advance Registration Required. This Month’s Topic: Animal Shapes We will practice identifying basic shapes in nature as we visit a variety of Zoo animals. We’ll compare shapes big and small, and Zoo Educators will introduce LIVE animal ambassadors to teach you and your child how to identify shapes that make up the animals we see! Age: Designed for children ages 3-5 years (One adult chaperone is required and is included in the program price. Class size is limited, only 1 adult per child may attend this program.) Price: $20 for Zoo Member children (discount shown in cart after log in) $28 for Non-Member children Our activities often encourage creativity, which for little ones can usually mean getting messy. To foster your Little Critter’s creativity, please have your participant wear clothes that you do not mind getting dirty.
