More Information

Join us as we turn the library into the sci-brary! Explore science through fun demonstrations, experiments, and creative projects presented by local scientists and sci-thusiasts.

American Chemical Society of Northeast Wisconsin Discover how chemistry builds our world! Build with biodegradable packing peanuts, then experiment with freezing candy to see how temperature can change the properties of materials.

Wisconsin Sea Grant Get an up-close look at a sturgeon! Dr. Fish will present a dissected sturgeon and reveal its fascinating anatomy. Explore additional sturgeon specimens and displays—including a 6-week-old sturgeon and a replica of the record catch.

YMCA of the Fox Cities Richard Imp, Environmental Education Director, will explore how our senses compare to those of animals. Discover how animals use their senses to find food, avoid danger, and survive in the wild through fun, interactive activities.

Neenah Public Library Shine a light on the human body! Explore X-rays and create your own shine-the-light human body craft.

Community Art & Science Project Get creative and add your own piece to a community art and science project! Your contribution will join artwork created by children, families, and adults across the region. Sponsored by Wisconsin Science Festival and Wisconsin Sea Grant, the project will come together as one shared artwork—and Neenah participants will take home a piece of the experience!
