Stop by the Theresa Public Library during the hours listed below to get a free Science in a Bag STEAM kit (while supplies last) courtesy of the Wisconsin Science Festival. Activities are appropriate for ages K-12 and feature science and research happening in the state of Wisconsin.

In addition, visit the Science in a Bag portal , located on our website, for further instructions and bonus activities related to the Science in a Bag kits!

Before beginning Science in a Bag activities, please get permission from a responsible adult.

Library Bag Pick-up Hours:

Monday, Oct 20th – Thursday, Oct 23rd: 12:00pm-6:30pm Friday, Oct 24th: 12:00pm-5:00pm ADDITIONAL OPPORTUNITY: October 16-24th we will be offering STEM projects for patrons to create at the library during our Open hours.

***STEM Pumpkin Picker:***Create a simple machine that can be a lever, pulley, or use an inclined plane to harvest your (candy) pumpkins from the field to the back of your truck. Explore which is the most efficient way to harvest our pumpkins. (Oriental Trading) ***STEM Light Bulb:***This STEM activity will engage students in a hands-on project about Edison and the light bulb. (Oriental Trading) ***Wearable Circuits:***Wearable circuits use conductive tape to create simple projects, introducing science concepts. (Brown Dog Gadgets) While Supplies Last
