The 2023–24 Science Olympiad Urban Schools Initiative (Sci Oly USI), sponsored by The Aerospace Corporation, is starting soon! This is a protected, sandboxed competition for first-time middle school Science Olympiad competitors in the Southern California region. Teams will meet from January until April 2024 in preparation for an in-person finals competition held at the University of California, Los Angeles. This is a one-day competition, scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 8:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m., with a lunch break from 12:15 p.m.–1:30 p.m. If you are interested in participating, please complete this interest form by Thursday, February 15, 2023.
