Calling all science kids and junior engineers! How does something as heavy as a helicopter overcome gravity to stay in the air? Through energy transfer and pressure changes, of course! Together we will explore the concepts of potential versus kinetic energy and flight versus drag by crafting and testing our own rubber band-powered helicopter toys. This program is for youth ages 7-11. REGISTRATION REQUIRED. Register at webtrac.sierravistaaz.gov.
