Syzygy Watch +4

This month's syzygy is a plus 4.  The moon will rise 4º to the right of your shadow's centerline. 

The thumb represents 2º so it will be 'two thumbs' worth of separation, with your arms fully extended.

This is a family friendly event with respect to its daylght hour and planning using an online chart such as Time and Date and a full circle protractor. These full moons are extremely pale at horizon level and would be unseen without a search. The horizon illusion can be thrilling as well.

It usually takes 4 minutes for the moon to be seen in good conditions.
