This natural event occurs on week night (from your location).  However, the March Planetarium Show & Star Party on March 8:  https://nightsky.jpl.nasa.gov/club/wasi/events/37119/ will cover the science behind the total lunar eclipse.

Penumbral Lunar Eclipse begins 03:57:12 UT (11:75pm EDT {-4hours from UT} Thursday 3/13)

Partial Eclipse Begins:  05:09 UT (4:09am EDT); Total Eclipse Begins: 06:26 UT (2:26am EDT) 

GREATEST ECLIPSE: 06:58 UT (2:58amEDT)

Total Eclipse Ends: 07:32 UT (5:32 EDT); Partial Ends: 08:48 UT (4:48am EDT); Penumbral Ends 10:00UT (6am EDT)

   3. choose event to register
   (Walk-ups can only be accomodated after all pre-registrants are admitted and no-shows confirmed 5 minutes after start.        County registration/waiver/payment (cash or check ONLY required.)

The STAR PARTY on MARCH 8 does NOT require pre-registration and is FREE to the public!!
Join us the 2nd Saturday of every month for a public star party (follows Planetarium show when available); weather permitting.  Outreach program may be available in event of clouds.

If a live broadcast of the total lunar eclipse becomes available, we'll post it here and on social media.
